Talking Nutritionelly Episode 18: The Importance of Strength Training With Bree Filippone.

Updated: Sep 13, 2022

In Episode 18 I’m joined by Bree Filippone, Head Coach and Founder of her own training business. She’s an Exercise Scientist with a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Sciences, Exercise Physiology (Deakin University), she has a Strength & Conditioning L1 Coaching Accreditation, Certificate III & IV in Fitness, alongside years of experience working with leading strength & conditioning facilities and coaches (Core Advantage, clinical exercise rehab (Kieser Training Australia) and she has over 6 years industry experience.

You can expect this episode to feel like a big sales pitch for strength training and as you’ll learn from listening to Bree, the pitch is warranted. Bree explains the significant health benefits of strength and conditioning training, the differences between strength, HIIT and aerobic training, what makes a good strength program and how to get started.

If you already have a regular strength and conditioning practice this episode will reassure you that you’re doing the right thing. If you don’t already have a regular strength program, I’m confident you’ll be mapping out a strategy for one after listening to this.

Bree offers tailored online coaching which you’re welcome to explore: www.thehiitproject.com/online-coaching
